Red-Eye was inspired by my friend and roommate b-rice. He would wake up hit the cart, cough. Go to work hit the cart, cough. Get home play games hit the cart, cough. All while increasing the bloodshot to his eyes. When wed see each other in the kitchen or hall in the middle of the night all I would see is the Red-Eye.
